Engineered for Open-Deck Work
JOMAC builds both flatbed truck bodies (typically for F-550 and F-600 chassis) and platform bodies (for heavy commercial chassis, including Peterbilt and Class 7-8 trucks).
Constructed from military-grade 5000 and 6000 series aluminum and mounted to a reinforced steel substructure, each body delivers:
- Lightweight construction for increased payload capacity
- Improved fuel efficiency compared to steel bodies
- Corrosion resistance that lasts
- Reinforced cross members for consistent load support
- Integrated rub rails and stake pockets for secure tie-downs

While flatbed and platform bodies do not include above-bed cabinet systems like service bodies, they can be configured with:
- Underbody tool cabinets for secure storage
- Crane installations for lifting and placement
- Dump body systems for materials handling
- Custom tie-down or rack solutions
Note: If storage extends above deck height, the configuration becomes a service body build. Our team will help you determine the right setup for your operation.
Flooring Options
Choose the flooring deck that matches your application:
- Commercial Flooring: 1/8” treadplate aluminum for strength and protection in standard-duty applications.
- Industrial Flooring: 3/16” treadplate aluminum for added durability in extreme-duty environments.
- Apitong Wood Flooring: Low-moisture, high-density hardwood resistant to termites and fungi; ideal when non-slip surfaces or traditional wood decking is preferred.
