Double Walled Protection

JOMAC mechanics truck bodies are designed to prevent accidental damage and maintain durability throughout the truck body life-cycle.

That is why we design each mechanics truck box with double paneled protection.

We construct each industrial box cabinet individually to guarantee optimum quality before welding the cabinets together to form the mechanics body.

The cabinets are double paneled, mounted on stainless steel hinges, then wrapped with a diamond plate overlay, creating double walled protection that other mechanics truck bodies do not offer.

Diamond Plated Wrap Layer

Our mechanics truck beds come with a standard, diamond plated wrap along the storage cabinets, providing yet another layer of protection.

Our diamond plate is either 1/8” or 3/16” thick (depending upon the application) and covers our service bodies to prevent damage and increase longevity and operation.

Other service body producers will upcharge thousands for this feature.

With JOMAC, a diamond plated wrap comes standard.

Mechanics Truck Sub-Frame

Our ingenious sub-frame construction allows us to offer heavy duty platform body features in a standard mechanics service truck body.

An all steel sub-frame is the foundation of our mechanics truck bodies. This allows the integration of cranes, outriggers and work benches, without sacrificing the structural integrity of a light-weight aluminum truck body.

The sub-frame design uses rectangular tube cross members spaced on 8” centers that are fully gusseted and welded for superior strength.

We wrap every steel subframe in 3/16-inch aluminum diamond plate to prevent any elemental damage or oxidization to the steel.

This allows us to build the lightest, most fuel-efficient mechanics trucks on the market, all while guaranteeing strength, durability, and functionality.
