This month we will highlight a custom fire rescue truck body that recently rolled off our production line.

This truck body was built for the multi-functional fire and rescue services, complete with through-body cabinets, heavy-duty storage, and hyper-organized fixed shelving units, along with an aluminum diamond-plated service bed.

We design fire rescue bodies precisely to emergency responder specifications, enabling the end-user complete control over the resulting truck body.

Let’s take a look at this month’s service truck spotlight…

Sleek, Lightweight Design

This fire rescue truck body is designed using military-grade 5000 and 6000 series aluminum, allowing the truck body to weigh 60% less than comparable steel service bodies.

By reducing the overall weight of the truck body, the payload allowance is raised significantly, creating a truck body that can haul more critical tools of the trade without sacrificing space.

Our aluminum fire rescue body design is standard for all emergency response vehicles.

Through Body Cabinets

We installed custom, through-body cabinets at the head of the truck body to enable oddly shaped rescue equipment to have a suitable storage area.

This storage area features bottom compartments with fixed shelving, as well as fixed shelving units on the top of the cabinet area.

The through-body cabinet is layered with diamond plated wrap to provide protection against wear and tear from constant use.

Premium Cabinet Doors

The cabinet doors on both the front, center and rear storage areas are double-walled for durability and strength. All of the rescue truck body cabinet doors feature pneumatic door closers and stainless steel T-latch locks.

Ultra-Durable, Custom Service Truck Bed

For this project, we completed the fire rescue truck bed with a 3/16 inch thick layer of diamond plate, for durability and added protection to truck bed floor.

The aluminum diamond-plated wrap layer covers the truck bed floor in its entirety, as well as the inner truck bed walls.

While not only a strength and cosmetic upgrade, the diamond plated layer serves as a safety feature against slippage when time is critical.

LED Light Fixtures

We installed high-powered, emergency grade LED light racks to the top of the cab for obvious reasons (it’s a fire rescue truck after all!)

On the rear, we installed high-visibility turn indicators, complete with premium electrical connectors.
