The utility truck body we are highlighting today is a prime example for this process. 

We were tasked with providing a utility body prototype for a landscaping business, built with custom features and options to best enable the business to optimize and enhance their service truck body performance.

The result that came to be was a 4003 series truck body, loaded with user-specific enhancements.

From a completely customized, complex storage system, to an AC power inverter and gas air compressor, this truck body hosts some impressive attributes that will improve the utility truck user experience .

Let's take peak at the finer details...

Height, Weight, Eye Color

Well, not eye color.

This truck body measures at 96" wide by 42" high by 108" long and is built for mount on a 60" cab-to axle, dual rear wheel chassis.

The utility body provides 55 1/2 inches between the cabinets in the truck bed and proudly hosts a 14 gauge cabinet shell. The full box design provides 3/16 of thickness for the entire truck body, preventing harsh work conditions from doing significant damage to the truck body.

In addition, the truck body is built with military-grad 6000 series aluminum, and is guaranteed to remain rust-free for life.

The 2" by 3" rectangular tube cross members establish a rock-solid base, and provide industry leading support for the truck body and chassis.

Futuristic Features

No, this truck body cannot fly. Well, not yet.

However, it does house an AC power converter, allowing truck operators to power a myriad of different devices, from microwave ovens and stereo systems, to the more work applicable uses, such as power tools and wet/dry vacuums. 

Think of your service truck body having the same wall outlets that you have in your garage. It is a whole different world of possibilities.

We upfitted a gas air compressor and air hose reel, allowing quick and reliable air power for a vast array of tools and applications.

But as every television infomercial has stated before... "Wait! That's not all!"

The Speed of Light

This service truck body is upfitted with a custom light configuration including grill strobes, cabinet lighting, and LED swivel floodlights.

The result is a clearly illuminated work area, regardless of natural light conditions.

The grill strobes provide an emergency signal system and safety feature to prevent any accidents at dusk. The LED swivel floodlights present a similar safety measure, but rather illuminate a work area in dimly lit conditions.

The cabinet lighting is a whole different animal, providing pristine visibility for organization and workflow. The lighting configurations accompanying this truck body provide an overall better service body experience to the operators, incorporating both safety and function.

Now We’re Rollin’

To round out the featured add-ons, this service truck body is equipped with FIFTEEN 3 inch high roller drawers, an additional THREE 5 inch high roller drawers, and another THREE 7 inch high roller drawers. That is a grand total of 21 all-aluminum ball-bearing roller drawers, and enough storage for anything your heart desires (within reason…)

These roller drawer units are custom designed, in-house by the JOMAC engineering team and come with a test weight of up to 500 lbs.

Each singular unit features a lock-closed and lock-open feature, as well as an industry leading LIFETIME warranty to the original owner.
